My name, original name, I was born [inaudible] and my really name, my mother gave it to me, like it or not, John Carlos [inaudible] Pinheiro. But now everybody knows me by John C. Pinheiro.
I live until 17 years old on the island of Faial. And the reason that I come to US was because a volcano erupted on the island in 1957. And being very close to the port that boats used to go whaling, was offshore whaling, we lost my father and we lost everything we had. We didn't have much but we were very happy there. No ideas in leaving the island…
